ABINGTON POLICE GUN LOCK PROGRAM

Many gunshot injuries occur after a child finds a gun in the home. Keeping a gun in your home is a serious decision and it should be locked up where kids can’t get it.

The Abington Police will provide residents of Abington free gunlocks from Project ChildSafe in an attempt to limit the dangers associated with gun ownership. If interested, please contact Officer Barry Geraghty @ 781-878-3232 x 122

You should also spend some time and instruct you children of the steps to be taken if they or one of their friends finds or produces a gun
