Abington Police Honor Guard

Left to right are Officer Lisa Donelan, Officer Michael Carini, Officer Michael Symes, Officer Michael Aziz and Officer Timothy Kane

The Abington Police Honor Guard is a newly established squad comprised of five full time officers. It was funded with the generous support of many local businesses and residents of the town of Abington. This unit's inception grew from a dream and countless hours of hard work from the late officer Timothy O'Connor. The honor guard has chosen to honor and memorialize Officer O'Connors commitment to this project by proudly displaying his badge number 20 on the uniform. In the name of officer O'Connor and his family, our unit will respond to those groups, families or functions, showing honor and respect to those suffering from emotional stress due to the loss of a loved one.

We would like to thank the following people businesses for their support. Without their generosity and commitment to the town of Abington we would not have been able to establish this needed squad.

Thank You to area merchants and business people for their support of the unit.
