Abington
Deputy Chief - Christopher Cutter
Deputy
Chief Christopher Cutter grew up in Abington, graduated
from the Abington High School in 1985 and has been
a member of the Abington Police Department for seventeen
years. Prior to being appointed as the Town’s
third Deputy Chief of Police in 2004 he served as
a shift supervisor for six years supervising various
units and programs.
He
has a Masters of Science Degree in Criminal Justice
Administration and is a current member of the Law
Enforcement Executive Development Association sponsored
by the F.B.I.
In his current role he works closely with the Chief
of Police overseeing the overall operations of the
department and setting policy. Deputy Chief Cutter
is guided by our “mission statement” in
hopes of making the Abington Police Department and
the Town a great place to live
and work.
