CARFAX Accident Reports

The Abington Police Department continues to make customer service a priority by now offering copies of accident reports on-line.
Our department has teamed up with CARFAX to offer you on-line accident reports.  Many times it’s an inconvenience for people to have to come to our police station to get copies of reports, so this will allow you and your insurance company to download copies of your accident report instantly to your computer, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year!   In order to offer this convenient service there is a fee.  CARFAX will charge you $7 to download a copy.  CARFAX will keep $5 for processing and $2 will go back into the Town of Abington’s general fund.

We look at this as a way to add convenience to your busy lives, generate some revenue for the town and allow our records clerk to do more with less.   If you wish to not pay a fee, that’s fine also.  You can still get a copy of your accident reports free of charge if you walk into the station.  Our records department is open Mon-Fri, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
