A Message from Chief Majenski

We are extremely proud of our community and the programs offered by the Abington Police Department.

Our philosophy is that interactive and proactive policing along with continuous education for our officers is the way to maintaining a high quality of life for all that live, work or pass through this town.

Our main objective is to make the Town of Abington a place where people would like to reside and raise their families. We currently have 24 full time officers and 20 Auxiliary Officers.

If you have any question or comments please feel free to send an email message directly to, Chief Majenski.
We truly hope that you enjoy your visit with us.

Sincerely,
David G. Majenski
Chief of Police

Congratulations to Mr. Thomas Bowker for being selected by The Abington Police Department as the 2011 National Night Out Against Crime Award Recipient.  Mr. Bowker was recognized at a Brockton Rox Baseball Game on August 2, 2011 for his contributions to the community.  During the presentation, Police Chief David Majenski publically recognized his commitment to the youth of Abington and was quoted as saying that Tom serves as an excellent example of the department’s motto, “Community Partners”.

Its people like Tom that truly make Abington a special place to grow up in, THANK YOU Tom!
