Our philosophy is that interactive and proactive policing along with continuous education for our officers is the way to maintaining a high quality of life for all that live, work or pass through this town.

Our main objective is to make the Town of Abington a place where people would like to reside and raise their families. We currently have 24 full time officers and 20 Auxiliary Officers.

If you have any question or comments please feel free to send an email message directly to, Chief Majenski.
We truly hope that you enjoy your visit with us.

Sincerely,
David G. Majenski

Congratulations to Mr. William Cox for being selected by the Abington Police Department as the 2012 National Night Out Against Crime Award Recipient.  Mr. Cox was recently awarded an appreciation plaque by Chief David Majenski at a Brockton Rox Baseball Game on August 6, 2012 for his many contributions to the community.

The plaque inscription reads “In appreciation of his unselfish dedication to supporting the departments campaign against prescription drug abuse, the Abington Police Department recognizes William G. Cox.  Bill’s commitment to this critically important issue has positively influenced all that live in the community.  Furthermore, under his direction, Bemis Drug serves as an excellent example of our motto community partners”
